What is the Right Age to Start Skincare?

The skin of every person differs as they age as their diet, water intake, and source of a nutrition change. Many more factors determine the age like smoking, stress, alcohol consumption and sleep quality, and exercise. There is actually no right age to take care of our skin properly. Taking care of skin is very easy and can be started at age and also taking care of skincare helps your skin to make you flow.

Literally, when you hit the 20s, you get pimples, acne, dark spots, and acne scars, this is just because the collagen level decreases in your body. From that time onwards, you must be using an anti-aging skincare routine.  The right age depends upon the skin type, usually, you should begin your anti-aging routine skincare from the age of 25 to 28. 

Incorporating a good skincare routine is the first step towards an anti-aging routine. Sunscreen is the first thing you should start with your skincare from your 20s itself as it protects you from sunburn and sun scars. You should apply sunscreen whenever you step out in sun exposure.

Starting your skincare routine at a young age is never too early to start, instead, it will help your skin to be healthy and youthful in your adulthood. Girls of age 12 to 15 start their skincare routine and it is not bad as they can maintain this routine and this helps them to incorporate good skincare practice from a very young age.

It is very important to start skincare in your teenage as in your mid-20s and 30s your skin starts developing fine lines and wrinkles on your skin and face. 


No matter what your age, starting a day with a good skincare regimen makes your day all well a sit keeps your skin healthy and hydrated. At every age, the skin loses moisture in itself and therefore it becomes necessary to apply moisturizers or such products that keep your skin healthy, hydrated, and moisturized. So you must moisturize your skin twice a day or whenever your skin needs it.

Keep your skin clean from a young age

Teenage girls are always excited about their looks and eagerly do those things that make them appear beautiful. For the same teens should be encouraged to for following the best skin care regimen that could be beneficial for their skin in an adult age too. Cleaning your face twice a day is always preferred but it also depends upon the skin type which product or cleanser you are using for washing your face. We all love going to the beach, enjoying the sunshine, and travelling. But along with that taking care of the skin is also important. Sun exposure causes tanning to the skin and can damage the skin cells leading to sunburn, wrinkling, dehydration, and other skin conditions. Therefore sun protection is a must and taking care of skin from these harmful rays will protect your skin. 

As these harmful rays penetrate deep into the skin layer can have chances of skin cancers, so to prevent your skin you must apply sunscreen that protects your skin from sun damage and also wear full covering clothes that will protect your skin from getting tanned. Sunburn and wrinkles lead to early aging so start using sunscreen from an early age too.

Knowing your skin type is very essential and this is best when you this in your teenage, as this will help you to start taking care of your skin at an early stage. If you know your skin type you can easily try those products required to make your skin blemish-free. As you know the best skin care starts with ourselves only that is from waking up early in the morning, using a good cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen is all the best things one can start with.
